HomeFelgate appeared in Raymond Glendenning's Book of Sports for boys. Glendenning was a well known radio sports presenter and popular figure of the of the forties and fifties and lent his name to several sports books of the time.
The Raymond Glendenning's Book of Sports was produced by a number of publishers over the period 1949-1962. Each of the books had 3-4 short Felgate tales, you can read one of the stories from the 1956 annual here.
The Grandstand Book of Sport replaced the Glendenning book.
