The Dreadnought launched in March 1912 and ran until June 1915 after which it was amalgamated with the Boys' Friend.

Greyfriars in the Dreadnought.

The success of the Tom Merry stories in the Penny Popular launched in 1912 persuaded AP that there may be a market for the early Greyfriars stories so they were brought into the Dreadnought in 1915. Early issues were heavily abridged but as their popularity increased later issues were less abridged. The Magnet ran from issue 136 to the final issues of the story paper 159 on 12th June 1915 reprinting 24 out of the first 29 issues of the Magnet.
